Student-Athletes

students
XS Student-Athletes are given the tools, support and motivation to succeed both on the court and in the classroom. The XS model of promoting both academic and athletic achievement in an environment of mutual respect, hard work, collaboration, high expectations and goal-setting helps XS student-athletes envision and realize a path for athletic and academic success on the road to college. Instruction by high-level professional tennis coaches dedicated to students’ success is supplemented by on-site tutoring provided by the University of Chicago and programs such as the Winning Words Initiative, a program providing XS students the opportunity for self-reflection, self-expression and personal growth.
