XS Tennis was founded by Kamau Murray in 2005. He is now the President/CEO of XS Tennis and Executive Director of XSTEF. Kamau Murray grew up on Chicago’s South Side where he was introduced to tennis in a free after school CPS program. He earned a full tennis scholarship to Florida A&M University, where he also earned his MBA. Kamau is currently a top sales representative for Novo Nordisk during the day, and has devoted his evenings and weekends to building XS Tennis and XSTEF. Kamau Murray also co-coaches professional tennis player Taylor Townsend with coach and former professional player, Zina Garrison.
